Easypeace is an early-stage peace-tech company developing an AI platform that mediates interpersonal conflict. We are seeking a pragmatic, security-minded Principle Engineer to turn our product vision into a reliable, scalable, and ethically-sound service.
Define the technical strategy and roadmap from prototype to mature cloud deployment.
Select, fine-tune, and monitor language models for safe, bias-aware mediation.
Build and lead an engineering team, establishing clear coding standards, review practices, and documentation.
Design and implement security, privacy, and compliance controls (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA-adjacent safeguards).
Collaborate with domain experts in psychology and mediation to translate best practices into product features.
Own infrastructure decisions on reliability, observability, and cost management.
Report directly to the CTO/CEO and contribute to fundraising and strategic planning.
5+ years of engineering leadership, including ownership of NLP or LLM-based products in production.
Proven experience moving from zero to launch in a start-up or high-growth environment.
Deep understanding of data privacy, security architecture, and regulatory frameworks relevant to mental-health technology.
Strong proficiency in at least one modern backend language (e.g., TypeScript, Python, Rust, Go) and cloud-native architectures.
Track record of building and mentoring distributed teams with clear, asynchronous communication practices.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and integrate multidisciplinary feedback.
Prior work with transformer fine-tuning, evaluation, and safety tooling.
Exposure to mediation, mental-health, or related domains.
Experience setting up ML MLOps pipelines and real-time inference systems.
