Easypeace is an early-stage peace-tech company developing an AI platform that mediates interpersonal conflict. We are hiring a Design Lead to shape every aspect of the product and brand—from first pixel to long-term design system—so our technology is as humane and trustworthy as the mission it serves.
You will own end-to-end product and brand design, guiding research, information architecture, interaction patterns, and visual identity. Partnering closely with Engineering, Product, and Marketing, you will turn complex AI capabilities into clear, accessible experiences that help users move from conflict to understanding.
Define and drive the design vision for web and mobile products, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and clarity.
Create and maintain a scalable design system (components, typography, color, motion) that accelerates development.
Conduct user research and usability testing to validate concepts and iterate quickly.
Produce wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity assets in tools such as Figma and Principle.
Collaborate with engineers to ship pixel-perfect interfaces and establish efficient hand-off processes.
Shape brand expression across marketing site, social, and investor materials.
Establish design metrics and quality benchmarks, reviewing work from internal and external contributors.
Build and mentor a small design team as the company grows.
5+ years of product design experience, including ownership of shipped, consumer-facing applications.
Proven ability to lead the entire design process—from discovery and research through QA—on a cross-functional team.
Expertise in creating and governing design systems.
Strong command of typography, layout, color, motion, and accessibility standards (WCAG).
Skilled in Figma (or equivalent), prototyping, and basic illustration/animation assets.
Clear, concise communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Portfolio demonstrating thoughtful problem-solving and measurable impact.
Experience designing for AI, mental-health, or privacy-sensitive products.
Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, SwiftUI) and responsive design constraints.
Comfort working in distributed, asynchronous teams.
Competitive early-stage salary.
Remote-first culture with periodic in-person strategy retreats.
Comprehensive health coverage.
28 days PTO plus holidays.
Opportunity to create design that directly supports healthier relationships worldwide.
